How do you get Setanta Sports?
The Setanta Sports Pack is available on the Sky and Virgin Media digital TV platforms from as little as £12.99 a month and is also available on Freeview, BT Vision and other IPTV providers. Sky customers do not necessarily have to sign up for the Sky Sports Pack to subscribe to Setanta Sports, as the Setanta Sports subscription is taken in addition to everything else. Sky and Virgin customers with the Sky+ and V+ services can still pause, rewind and record Setanta Sports footage as they would with anything else.
A basic Setanta Sports package, based upon the Setanta Sports 1 channel is available on Freeview and you can get for £10.99 a month. The Setanta Sports Pack is now also available to all BT Vision customers, for just £9.99 a month.
Sky and Virgin Media customers can sign up online and do not have to purchase any additional equipment in order to watch Setanta Sports. BT Vision customers have to pay a one-off charge of £10.00 for a Setanta Sports viewing card. Freeview customers have to purchase a set-top box with a viewing card slot, or just a viewing card if their existing set-top box already has as slot. Freeview subscribers with an IDTV set can instead purchase a CAM pack (including a viewing card) directly from Setanta which will see you able to activate your account within 7 days.
