However, only the specific channels will show programmes in high definition - a programme which is broadcast in high definition can be identified by the 'HD' at the end of their name. The Sky HD Box has all the functionality of Sky+, you can pause and rewind programmes, watch and record separate channels, record two programmes simultaneously, as well as being able to store up to 80 hours of TV. The Sky HD Box costs £299, a further £30 for installation , with basic subscription rates charged at £10 a month.
