About the Sky Box
The Sky Box, the standard piece of digital receiver hardware from Sky gives you access to a wide range of Free to Air and subscription and digital channels and interactive services all broadcast in pin-sharp digital clarity. Viewers have access to an on-screen television planner displaying all the forthcoming listings within seven days, and can set timed reminders so that favourite films or TV shows won't be missed. Parents can also restrict access to specific channels by locking them with a PIN number.

Through the Sky Standard Box, you can view channels by choosing to subscribe to a number of entertainment, sports and movie packages. The Sky Standard box offering is excellent value for money, as there is no one-off cost or installation charge for new subscribers. You choose when to be connected at a time which is most convenient for you. With the exception of the high-definition broadcasts for Sky HD, the Standard Sky Box allows you to subscribe to any of the Sky Digital channels. The benchmark Sky Digital receiver provides great value access to the enhanced sound and picture quality afforded by digital TV.
