September on BT Sport

September on BT Sport is absolutely packed with football, as the Premier League returns from the international break, whilst the Champions League and Europa League group games begin.

Premier League - exclusive coverage

The BT Sport Premier League coverage begins on Saturday 10th September, as Jurgen Klopp's improving but inconsistent Liverpool take on champions Leicester at Anfield.  A week later, on Saturday 17th, Everton are at home to new-boys Middlesbrough.  Coverage starts at 5pm on BT Sport 1 for both matches, and they're available in 4K Ultra HD.

On Sunday 18th Watford host Mourinho's rejuvenated Manchester United, with the Portuguese's side looking to maintain a 100% win-record and continue one of their best starts to a Premier League season.  You can catch this from 12pm on BT Sport 1, and in 4K UHD.

Saturday 24th September is a date for the diary, as Conte's Chelsea take a trip up the road to face Arsenal at the Emirates, in one of the season's biggest derby games.  Once again, you can catch the action on BT Sport 1, and in 4K UHD, with coverage starting at 5pm.

Champions League & Europa League - every game live

BT Sport is now the home of Champions League and Europa League football, and five Premier League teams are involved, along with one from the SPL.  You can watch games from both competitions exclusively live on BT Sport, with the first round of Champions League matches taking place on Tuesday 13th September.

Highlights include Arsenal travelling to Paris Saint-Germain, Man City's home game against Borussia Monchengladback and Celtic facing Euro heavyweights Barcelona at the colossal Camp Nou.

On September 14th, Leicester play their first-ever Champions League game, taking on Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadium.  It will be fascinating to see whether they rise to the occasion or struggle form the start, and playing away from home will be a huge test.

Spurs play Monaco at White Hart Lane the same evening, after a five-year absence from the competition for Pochettino's side.  The team's young homegrown players, who featured heavily in England's abysmal Euro 2016 campaign, will be looking to assert themselves and prove they belong on the big stage.

Other games on this day include Juventus v Sevilla, with the Europa Cup winners enjoying a season in the top competition at Liverpool's expense, and Dortmund will travel to Poland to play Legia Warsaw.  It's all live on BT Sport, with interviews, analysis and highlights.

For Man United fans, a season in the Europa League is not ideal, but it's a competition that has grown in standing and provided some exhilarating entertainment last season.  Mourinho's first Europa League match will be away against Feyenoord on 15th September, with kick-off at 6pm.

Later than evening, at 8:05pm, Claude Puel's Southampton face Sparta Prague at St. Mary's, and his team will be looking to improve on an indifferent start to the season after seeing yet more first-team players depart the club.

There's also action from the German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1 and Scottish Premiership, all live and exclusive to BT Sport customers.
