Horror crosses the pond this September.

The American Horror Story title card.

The new season of American Horror Story will begin airing in the UK on September 27th.

The date has been revealed alongside a new teaser trailer, offering a first glimpse as to what fans can expect from the upcoming season.

Season 8 of American Horror Story is titled Apocalypse and acts as a crossover between the characters of previous seasons Murder House and Coven.

Rumours of a crossover season have been flying for a few years now, with the show finally making it happen in season 8.

American Horror Story is a horror anthology series that uses the same actors every season to tell a new story every time.

Fans have speculated how Apocalypse will handle the actors playing more than one character at once, with the teaser trailer not offering a lot to on with.

Series creator Ryan Murphy is one of the busiest people in TV, with the writer overseeing two anthology shows in the form of American Horror and Crime Story as well as developing new shows for Netflix as part of a big-money deal.

American Horror Story fans can watch the new season in the UK exclusively on Fox, which is available from Sky, Virgin Media and BT TV.

If you want to catch up on the series, seasons 1 to 6 are now available to stream on Netflix.
