Netflix’s Sabrina series is set to get a Christmas episode.
The show’s creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, posted a tweet confirming that the show would return in December for a special episode.
The episode will be titled A Midwinter’s Tale, though plot details around it have yet to be released.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is based on the graphic novel of the same name and features a darker version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch that’s different from the classic sitcom in a number of ways.
The series features Kiernan Shipka (of Mad Men fame) in the main role, with a number of writers who work on Riverdale - another Archie comics adaptation - featuring as part of the show.
The first part of the series is available to watch on Netflix now, with the second part set to land in 2019. Both halves were filmed back-to-back but have been staggered for release.
A Midwinter’s Tale is one of a number of Christmas specials that Netflix is producing, including The Christmas Chronicles, an exclusive film starring Kurt Russell as Santa.
