Netflix have released the first teaser for the upcoming third season of Marvel’s Daredevil series.
Posted to the official Daredevil Twitter account earlier this week, the 46 second clip shows a title sheet for Matt Murdock’s/Daredevil’s funeral as its accompanying text switches from English to braille and then back again.
Written underneath are the words “I’m fine” and the hashtag DEFEND which was specifically created and used to promote The Defenders series before its release back in August.
The teaser directly addresses the cliff-hanger featured at the very end of The Defenders which saw Daredevil buried under a pile of rubble after a huge explosion at the Midland Circle Security building and then waking up in a mysterious unknown convent surrounded by a group of nuns.
Fans have suggested that it serves as a hint to what we can expect from the new season like a Daredevil who's been drastically altered by all that he's been through.
The presence of the DEFEND hashtag also seems to imply that the other defenders, super-strong private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), bulletproof Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and mystical ninja Iron Fist (Finn Jones), wil make an appearance in the series.
Despite an announcement trailer being released at San Diego Comic Con back in July, Daredevil’s third season still doesn't have a proper release date but it's expected to drop on the streaming service sometime in 2018.
