The second season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones is due to be released in March 2018.
The announcement came alongside a new trailer which gave a hint at what's to come in the second season, with Jones taking another case after the events of this year’s Defenders.
The official synopsis for the season suggests that Jessica will be dealing with life after dispatching of Kilgrave in season 1.
“New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.”
The return will be the latest in the line-up of Netflix’s Marvel properties, with The Punisher recently debuting in November and Defenders dropping earlier in the year.
As well as Jessica Jones, 2018 will also see Luke Cage and Daredevil return for new seasons.
2018 is a big year for Marvel overall, with Black Panther releasing in February and the much anticipated Avengers: Infinity War being the studio’s big summer film.
Infinity War is set to be Marvel’s biggest film ever, with the ever-expanding cast finally facing off against final boss and angry space-dad Thanos.
You can catch season 2 of Jessica Jones on Netflix on March 8th 2018 and catch up on all the Marvel shows right now.
