Netflix has announced its latest documentary series along with a trailer.

Evil Genius is a series based on the bizarre story of Brian Wells, a pizza delivery man who showed up at a Pennsylvania TV station with a collar bomb around his neck.

This is another true crime series from Netflix, which has specialised in the genre ever since it began making its own documentaries.

Series like Making a Murderer, The Keepers and, more recently, Wild Wild Country have been popular with subscribers and achieved notoriety among online communities.

Alongside the announcement, Netflix has released a trailer which offers a look at what viewers can expect from the series.

Evil Genius is produced by the same company that made the recent documentary series Wild Wild Country, which has been critically acclaimed.

Duplass Brothers Productions was founded by Jay and Mark Duplass and has created a number of documentaries since its inception.

Evil Genius is the latest of these, with more to arrive on Netflix in the coming years.

As well as documentaries, Netflix has expanded its Original content with big names in order to continue its massive growth in the streaming space.

Original stand-up comedy shows with the likes of Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock and Greg Davis have bolstered the lineup along with films from Adam Sandler (who’s surprisingly not cheap to get).

You can watch Evil Genius when it launches on Netflix on May 11th.
