The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been renewed by Netflix.
The teen horror series, which is based on a graphic novel and takes the characters of the classic sitcom and puts them in a more adult world, will return for a 3rd and 4th season.
Creator and showrunner of the series, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, said in a statement that he was excited to bring the series back to Netflix.
“Praise Satan! I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Brothers, Netflix, Berlanti Television, and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch.
"And I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina’s chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka.”
Netflix calls these seasons “parts”, with part 2 set to be released early next year.
Production on parts 3 and 4 will begin at some point in 2019, with a likely October release.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars Kiernan Shipka, who previously featured as Sally Draper in Mad Men.
She’s joined by Michelle Gomez, Lucy Davis and Ross Lynch, all of whom are set to come back for further seasons.
