Sky 1 has confirmed that the new season of Stan Lee’s Lucky Man will air February 24th.
The show, which has comic book legend Stan Lee as a producer, sees James Nesbitt play a detective with a gambling problem who gains the power to control luck.
The concept came from Stan Lee’s answer to a question about which superpower he would want, to which to the answer was luck.
When the first season aired last year, it quickly became the most popular original drama series in Sky 1’s history, with millions tuning in over the 10 episode run.
Stan Lee’s Lucky Man features a cast headed up by James Nesbitt including Eve Best (Nurse Jackie), Sienna Guillory (Fortitude) and Amara Karan (The Night Of).
Season 2 will see new additions such as Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones) and Jonathan Aris (The Night Manager).
As per season 1, the show will follow detective Harry Clayton as he solves puzzling murders whilst wrestling with his power to control the luck around him.
Stan Lee’s Lucky Man is produced by Carnival Films, the Golden Globe and Emmy award-winning producers of Downton Abbey.
Stan Lee, creator of world-famous comics such as Spider-Man and X-Men, will also reprise his role as executive producer on the show.
You can catch Stan Lee’s Lucky Man on February 24th at 9pm on Sky 1.
