Sky Cinema has announced that a special Halloween channel will run for a week in October.
Sky Cinema Halloween will air from the 23rd to 31st of October and will feature a wide variety of horror movies, including classic slashers and modern chillers.
Viewers will be able to catch legendary horror classics such as Rosemary’s Baby, Silence of the Lambs and the original Halloween, which is hitting Sky Cinema for the very first time.
You’ll also be able to relive the alien terror of The Thing and Event Horizon as well as experience the best in modern horror, including Don’t Breathe, Lights Out and The Witch.
Fans of Stephen King will also find plenty to enjoy, with classics such as Cujo, Carrie, Pet Sematary and Misery all featured on the channel.
Sky Cinema Halloween will also be featuring a joint event with Sky Cinema Animation, offering a Family Frights Day which includes kid-friendly spooks such as Coraline, Frankenweenie and Monster House.
Ian Lewis, Group Director of Sky Cinema, said that dedicated Sky Cinema channels were one of the most popular parts of the package.
"Sky Cinema Halloween is the latest of our dedicated genre channels and brings together over 50 scary movies for a non-stop week of horror. With a range of classics and recent releases there is something for everyone, and it is another great example of the continued innovation that helps to make Sky Cinema the UK and Ireland's leading in-home movies service."
As well as watching via the Sky Cinema Halloween channel, viewers will also be able to catch all the featured films on-demand and via the NOW TV Sky Cinema Pass.
