2017 crime-drama The Sinner will return for season 2.
The series, which starred Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman in the first season, has been renewed for a second season.
The Sinner was supposed to originally be a one-off mini-series, but the popularity of the series has caused the USA Network to commision a new season.
USA Network aired the series in the US, with Netflix picking up the global distribution rights.
The Sinner saw Bill Pullman star as a detective who must get to the bottom of why a woman (Jessica Biel) suddenly snapped and killed a man, seemingly for no reason.
The series was praised due to its performances and interesting mystery, as well as the choice to run for just 8 episodes.
Alongside the confirmation of a second run, USA has also delivered a synopsis for the upcoming season.
"In the wake of the Cora Tannetti case, Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) is called back to his hometown in distant rural New York to assess a disturbing new crime: an 11-year-old boy's horrific double-homicide & his seemingly inexplicable motive.
"As Ambrose comes to realise there's nothing ordinary about the boy or where he came from, his investigation leads him straight into the hidden darkness of his hometown and pitting him against those who'll stop at nothing to protect its secrets."
This sounds like Bill Pullman will continue to star in the series without Jessica Biel, with the season having him tackle another case.
Biel will, however, be returning as a producer for the series.
