The season premier of the Twin Peaks revival will debut at the Cannes Film Festival.
The first 2 episodes, which run together, will be shown at the historic festival, which is enjoying its 70th year running.
The show is expected to air on May 21st in the US, with Sky Atlantic holding a simulcast in the UK.
Details about the revival have been scarce, with creator David Lynch keeping spoilers fully under wraps.
Fans will be hoping that unanswered questions from the mysterious cult-classic will emerge in the new series, with the majority of the previous cast being involved.
Twin Peaks is not the only TV show to be featured at the festival this year, with Top of the Lake: China Girl, starring Elisabeth Moss, being shown in full.
This year marks the first time that Cannes has allowed TV shows to be included, with it previously being a film-only festival.
David Lynch has previously enjoyed success at Cannes, with his 1990 film Wild at Heart winning the Palme d’Or - the festival’s most prestigious prize.
