The US sporting event offered a slew of new trailers.

New reveals for Westworld and the rumoured Cloverfield sequel appeared during last night’s Superbowl.

Both trailers and release dates were shown during the sporting event, which is typically peppered with a number of big trailers for TV shows, movies and video games.

The Westworld trailer offered some of what we can expect from the second season, with robo-bulls taking on some guards and Dolores taking out some unhappy punters with her robo gang.

The trailer also revealed the release date, with season 2 premiering in the US on April 22nd.

It will presumably hit the UK very soon afterward like other HBO shows, with the predicted date being the 23rd.

Alongside new Westworld news, the Superbowl also revealed the release of the rumoured Cloverfield sequel, named The Cloverfield Paradox, which turned out to be a Netflix Original that was released immediately after the game.

In classic internet fashion, many have already watched and slated the new film overnight, but here’s a trailer in case you’re still interested in checking it out.

The Superbowl also offered teases for a number of other films, such as the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War and Star Wars spinoff Solo.

You can catch Westworld season 2 in April on Sky Atlantic or via the NOW TV Entertainment Pass and watch The Cloverfield Paradox on Netflix right now.
