Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for the second season of its comedy Mythic Quest.
Created by It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, the show follows the development team of popular fictional MMORPG Mythic Quest.
The official plot summary issued by the streamer reveals that these nine upcoming episodes will find “everyone back in the office (well, almost everyone), attempting to build upon the success of Raven’s Banquet by launching an epic new expansion.”
“Ian (Rob McElhenney) and the newly promoted co-creative director, Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao), struggle with the game’s direction. Meanwhile, C.W. (F. Murray Abraham) reconciles some unresolved issues from his past.”
“The testers (Ashly Burch and Imani Hakim) test the bounds of an office romance, and David (David Hornsby) loses yet another woman in his life as Jo (Jessie Ennis) leaves him to assist Brad (Community’s Danny Pudi).”
Naomi Ekperigin and Caitlin McGee are also set to return alongside newcomers Humphrey Ker, Chris Naoki Lee and Jonathan Wiggs.
As seen in the above clip, rapper Snoop Dogg is also set to guest star along with Drunk History creator Derek Waters.
Fans will be able to stream the first two episodes of Mythic Quest season two from 7th May exclusively on Apple TV+. The following seven episodes will then arrive weekly every Friday.
