Arnold Schwarzenegger to star in new TV series
He'll play a spy working alongside his daughter.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to take on his first major TV role.
The iconic actor will star in an as of yet untitled spy adventure series which follows a father and a young daughter.
The search is now underway for an actress to appear opposite Schwarzenegger.
The show is being developed by Nick Santora, the creator of US cybersecurity drama Scorpion, and Skydance Television as part of his multi-year deal with the studio.
Schwarzenegger will also serve as executive producer along with Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Bill Bost.
According to Deadline, Skydance will soon begin to shop the project around to different networks and streaming platforms.
Schwarzenegger has a long-standing relationship with the production studio who are behind the two most recent installments in The Terminator franchise, 2015’s Genisys and last year’s Dark Fate.
A release date for this upcoming series is not yet known.
