Better Call Saul to return in 2020

Saul is skipping 2019 entirely.

Better Call Saul season 5 won’t air until 2020, AMC has confirmed.

The series, which is a spinoff of Breaking Bad, was previously expected to return this year, with seasons appearing annually since the show’s debut.

AMC president Sarah Barnett said that the decision was made due to “talent needs” and that she wouldn’t want to rush the season and affect its quality.

Better Call Saul season 5 will likely be one of the show’s last, with the series getting closer and closer to the starting point of Breaking Bad.

Another reason for the delay might be the upcoming Breaking Bad movie, which series creator Vince Gilligan is currently working on.

The movie, which does not yet have a release date, is set to revolve around Jesse Pinkman as he tries to get back on his feet after the Breaking Bad finale.

You can watch all of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul via Netflix now.
