Big Mouth creator to develop spinoff series
Human Resources will follow the hormone monsters through the corporate world.
Nick Kroll has announced that a spinoff series to his acclaimed animated comedy Big Mouth is in the works.
Speaking last Friday at New York Comic Con during the show’s season 3 panel, he revealed it’ll be called Human Resources and take place in the corporate world that the monsters of the show inhabit.

Kroll will be joined by fellow Big Mouth creators Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett in making the series.
Big Mouth follows a young group of friends, Nick (Kroll), Andrew (John Mulaney), Jessi (Jessi Klein) and Jay (Jason Mantzoukas), as they navigate through puberty alongside their assigned hormone monsters who often encourage them to act on their worst impulses.
It’s not been confirmed whether the two main hormone monsters of the series, Connie (Maya Rudolph) and Maury (also Kroll), will feature.
Other monsters that have been glimpsed throughout the series include the Shame Wizard (David Thewlis) and Depression Kitty (Jean Smart).
Human Resources is the first project to emerge from the deal that Kroll and his team signed with Netflix to develop a host of animated films and TV series.
The series is set to premiere sometime after the fifth series of Big Mouth meaning its still at least two years away from an official release.
