Cast announced for Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee series
The project will take a look at the pair's relationship which saw them marry after only four days of knowing each other.
Lily James and Sebastian Stan will star in an upcoming Hulu series about Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.
With the working title Pam and Tommy, it will explore the pair’s tumultuous relationship which was a constant feature in the tabloids throughout the 1990s.
There will be a particular focus on the infamous scandal involving their sex tape which was leaked onto the internet. Seth Rogen will reportedly play the man who stole it.
Pam and Tommy will consist of eight episodes all of which will be directed by Craig Gillespie, who previously helmed the Academy-Award winning biopic I, Tonya, and written by Rob Siegel.
The show is in development at streaming service Hulu which isn’t available here in the UK.
There isn’t a particular platform that receives all of Hulu’s originals, the acclaimed Handmaid’s Tale made its way to Channel 4 while Little Fires Everywhere is available to stream on Amazon, so it’s not yet clear where it will be available here.
Filming on Pam and Tommy is set to commence in Spring 2021.
According to Deadline, Anderson and Lee are aware of the project’s existence but aren’t involved in any capacity.
