Fargo season 3 gets new teaser
It looks to be an unhappy Christmas in Fargo.
A new teaser for the upcoming season 3 of crime-drama Fargo has been released.
The upcoming season is the latest in the critically acclaimed crime series, which is based on the 1996 Coen Brothers film.
Previous series have starred Billy Bob Thornton as a chilling assassin and Martin Freeman as a hapless accidental murderer.
The series has been praised for its dark-yet-funny tone, well-written characters and authentic rural Minnesota scenery.
The new series, due to feature Ewan McGregor as twin brothers, will air late this year, with the new teaser hinting at what is to come.
In the teaser, an inflatable Father Christmas is destroyed by gunfire, suggesting that this series will be set during the festive season.
Whilst this doesn't give away any story details, it does retain the show's usual mix of dark humour and murderous intrigue.
Whilst it is not known exactly when season 3 of Fargo will premiere in the UK, it is due to hit FX on April 19th.
Whilst the show airs on FX in the US, the previous two seasons have aired on Channel 4 in the UK, so it's likely that this is where fans can catch it again.
If you havent' caught up with Fargo, you can watch the first two seasons on Netflix right now.
