First Stranger Things 4 teaser resolves major cliffhanger
Its likely this upcoming season will premiere in 2021.

Netflix has released the first teaser for the highly-anticipated fourth season of Stranger Things which confirms the fate of one fan-favourite character.
The short clip, titled From Russia with Love, reveals that Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is indeed alive and being held captive by the Russians in snowy Kamchatka.
Hawkins’ Police Chief seemingly died at the end of last season during the battle at Starcourt Mall where he sacrificed himself so that Joyce (Winona Ryder) could close the portal to the Upside Down.
Many fans were already convinced of his survival however thanks to a cryptic mid-credits scene which referenced a Russian prisoner known only as “The American.”
The teaser doesn’t reveal anything else in terms of potential plot, but it seems to suggest the continued involvement of these shadowy Russian scientists and that the action is potentially expanding out beyond Indiana.
An official release date for this upcoming season has yet to be announced, but creators Matt and Ross Duffer have confirmed that production is now underway.
“Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more,” they said in a statement.
“In the meantime — pray for The American.”
You can stream the first three seasons of Stranger Things on Netflix now.
