First trailer for The Mandalorian season 2
There's lots of Baby Yoda cuteness to enjoy.
Disney has released the first trailer for the upcoming second season of its acclaimed Star Wars spinoff The Mandalorian.
Picking up after the events of last season, it finds the titular bounty hunter (Pedro Pascal) continuing on his quest to reunite his adorable charge The Child/Baby Yoda with its own kind.
We get our first real idea of its plot as a voiceover narration from The Armourer (Emily Swallow) directs him toward the Jedi.
Fast-paced chases on spaceships and cool-looking motorbikes plus Baby Yoda’s impressively strong force powers are also teased, leaving fans with plenty of action to look forward too.
Alongside Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito are all set to reprise their roles.
Joining the cast for this second season includes Rosario Dawson as jedi Ahsoka Tano, Katee Sackhoff as fellow Mandalorian Bo Katan and Timothy Olyphant as former slave turned sheriff of Tatooine Cobb Vanth.
The Mandalorian is quite unique in the sense that it wasn’t impacted by the global coronavirus pandemic with principal photography having been completed before lockdown.
You can stream the first episode of The Mandalorian season 2 from 30th October on Disney+.
