First trailer for Westworld season 3
Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul's new character takes centre stage in the clip.

HBO has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming third season of Westworld.
The clip, which first premiered on US TV before the final highly-anticipated episode of Game of Thrones, focuses solely on Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul’s new character moving through a futuristic looking city.
Nothing is really revealed in the way of plot but we’re introduced to several of the show’s new characters including those played by Lena Waithe, Scott Mescudi aka rapper Kid Cudi and Marshawn Lynch.
Evan Rachel Wood’s robot host Dolores is also glimpsed very briefly at the end having spearheaded an uprising which culminated in her escaping the titular theme park last season.
No official plot summary has been released and it’s not clear exactly how much of the action will be set outside Westworld.
Series regulars Thandie Newton, Jeffery Wright and Tessa Thompson have all confirmed their return and French actor Vincent Cassel is set to appear as one of this season’s main villains.
A specific release date hasn’t been set but HBO have confirmed the third season of Westworld will debut in 2020.
The first two seasons of Westworld are available to stream on NOW TV.
