FX reveals full cast list for Fargo season 4

This series will star Chris Rock, Ben Whishaw, Jessie Buckley and Jason Schwartzmann.

FX has announced the full cast list for the upcoming fourth season of Noah Hawley’s Fargo.

Comedian Chris Rock, who was announced as the series lead last year, will be joined by Ben Whishaw, who played gadget genius Q in both Spectre and Skyfall, Chernobyl’s Jessie Buckley, indie-rock musician Andrew Bird and Wes Anderson favourite Jason Schwartzmann.

This series of the comedy crime anthology will transport the action back to 1950 Kansas City and revolve around two major crime families, one Italian and one African-American.

In order to cement an uneasy peace both trade their eldest son to the other. But when the head of the former dies, all bets are off.

“It’s a story of immigration and assimilation, and the things we do for money. And as always, a story of basically decent people who are probably in over their heads. You know, Fargo,” reads the official plot description.

Actors Salvatore Esposito, Jeremie Harris, Gaetano Bruno, Anju White, Francesco Acquaroli, E’myri Crutchfield and Amber Midthunder are also set to star.

Shooting is set to begin in Chicago this Autumn for an unspecified release date in 2020. Series creator and showrunner Noah Hawley will direct the first episode.

You can stream all three previous seasons of Fargo on Netflix now.
