Gavin and Stacey to return for Christmas special
The final episode of the show aired back in 2010.

BAFTA award-winning sitcom Gavin and Stacey is to return for a one-off Christmas special, star James Corden has announced.
He tweeted a picture of the finished script yesterday admitting that he and co-creator Ruth Jones had been “keeping this a secret for a while.”
Ruth Jones and I have been keeping this secret for a while... We’re excited to share it with you. See you on Christmas Day @BBCOne #GavinandStacey pic.twitter.com/gTRa3cp90t

The news was later officially confirmed by the BBC who said they were “hugely excited” about the show's return.
Following a long-distance relationship between the titular couple (played by Matthew Horne and Joanna Page respectively), Gavin and Stacey was first broadcast on the now-defunct BBC Three back in 2007.
It proved a surprise hit, spawning two more series and a previous Christmas special which aired primetime on BBC One.
Viewers last saw the show back in 2010 on New Year’s Day when the series three finale drew 10.2 million viewers.
Rob Brydon, Larry Lamb, Alison Steadman and Melanie Walters are all also set to return.
“We can't wait to see what's happened over the last nine years and what's next for one of the nation's favourite comedy families,” said Charlotte Moore, director of BBC Content.
