HBO releases full-length Game of Thrones trailer
The final season of the hugely popular fantasy epic will arrive in the UK on Monday 15th April.
HBO has dropped the first official full-length trailer for the eagerly anticipated final season of Game of Thrones.
The two-minute long clip was posted to the show’s official Twitter account yesterday afternoon, following the release of several incredibly short teasers over the last few months.
Fans are treated to a glimpse of most of the show's main characters as they prepare for the impending invasion of the terrifying White Walkers.
Official plot details have been kept tightly under wraps but that hasn't stopped the internet from over-analysing every scene in immense detail and putting forth plenty of theories.
One that seems to be heavily hinted at in a few of the later scenes is secret Targaryen Jon Snow (Kit Harington) finally riding one of Queen Daenerys's (Emilia Clarke) dragons.
The trailer currently sits at over 21 millions views on YouTube.
Directing duties will be shared out amongst Miguel Sapochnik and David Nutter who between them are responsible for some of the show’s best episodes, including Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards and Rains of Castamere.
Game of Thrones will premiere in the UK on Monday 15th April on Sky Atlantic at 2AM in a simulcast with the US and then be repeated at 9pm that same day.
All seven seasons of Game of Thrones are available to stream on NOW TV.
