Jack Reacher TV series in the works at Amazon
This will be the second live-action appearence of Lee Child's character.

A Jack Reacher TV series is currently in development at Amazon.
The streaming platform has secured the rights to adapt Lee Child’s best-selling series of spy novels, which previously served the basis for two big-budget action films starring Tom Cruise.
It’s already been confirmed that Cruise won’t appear in the series, but there’s been no word on any other official casting or plot.
Scorpion creator Nick Santora is to write the show and will serve as showrunner.
Child, Annihilation’s Don Granger and Christopher McQuarrie, who directed the first Cruise film titled simply Jack Reacher back in 2012, are also onboard as executive producers.
A start date for filming is not yet known.
The series will be yet another addition to Amazon’s growing collection of action series alongside Jack Ryan starring the US Office’s John Krasinski and Hanna with Esme Creed-Miles.
