The third season of quirky spy thriller Killing Eve will now premiere two weeks earlier than originally planned, the BBC has announced.
UK viewers will be able to stream the first episode from Monday 13th April on BBC iPlayer just a day after it airs in the US.
New episodes will drop weekly with the show also being broadcast every Saturday at 9pm on BBC One from 19th April.
Fear the Walking Dead’s Suzanne Heathcote replaced Emerald Fennell as joint writer and showrunner for this upcoming third season which will again consist of eight episodes.
Sandra Oh has already confirmed that her MI5 agent Eve survives getting shot by assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer) after she refused to run away with her and the new series will pick up right after that.
The recently released trailer shows Villanelle living a new life in Spain, buying a luxurious house and performing as a clown, in contrast to disarrayed Eve who’s clearly not over what went on.
That all seems set to change once former handler Konstantin (Kim Bodnia) gleefully informs Villanelle that Eve is indeed alive.
According to The Sun, another major plot point will see the flamboyant assassin marrying a Spanish woman before the big day inevitably descends into chaos.
You can stream the first two seasons of Killing Eve on BBC iPlayer now.
