Netflix cancels Jupiter's Legacy and orders Supercrooks series
Supercrooks is another Mark Millar comic which follows a group of supervillains instead of superheroes.
Netflix has announced that it’s making some major changes to its Millar World franchise.
While not having used the word cancelled, the streamer has released the cast of superhero drama Jupiter’s Legacy from their contract which brings the show to an end for the time being.
In its place, they have ordered a new live-action adaptation of another one of Mark Millar’s long-running comic book series Supercrooks.
This is set in the same world as Jupiter’s Legacy but shifts its focus from a team of superheroes to a team of supervillains.
A statement from Millar posted to his official Twitter account however suggested that this isn’t completely the end for Jupiter’s Legacy saying he’s “confident” that it’ll return one day.

Released last month, Jupiter’s Legacy sees earth protected by a superhero team called The Union which is led by The Utopian (Josh Duhamel) and his wife Lady Liberty (Leslie Bibb).
Decades later, their children, drug-addicted Chloe (Elena Kampouris) and conflicted Brandon (Andrew Horton), struggle to live up to the incredibly high expectations and strict moral code forced upon them.
It received mostly negative reviews from critics currently sitting at 38% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, which may have played a part in the decision to cancel it.
You can stream Jupiter’s Legacy in its entirety on Netflix now.
