Netflix has released some first look photos for the upcoming third season of Cobra Kai

The first image doesn’t reveal the fate of Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), who was kicked over a balcony by Robby (Tanner Buchanan) during a brawl at the end of last season, simply showing him lying in a hospital bed with some kind of back support on.

We do see the latter in some kind of youth offenders institution however suggesting that he’s being punished for his actions.

Kreese (Martin Cove) is also pictured training the students of Cobra Kai after his shocking takeover at the end of last season.

Season 3 of Cobra Kai was written by its creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg who will once again serve as co-showrunners.

William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Courtney Henggeler, Mary Mouser, Jacob Betrand and Gianni Decenzo are all set to return.

Cobra Kai is a sequel series to the classic 80s film which follows an adult Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), the antagonist from the original trilogy, as he reopens the Cobra Kai dojo.

It originally debuted as an original on YouTube Red (now known as YouTube Premium) before its significant acclaim from critics and fans alike saw it move to Netflix.

You can stream both seasons of Cobra Kai on Netflix now.
