Netflix Marvel lineup to return in 2018

Netflix users are due to get a lot more Marvel in 2018.

Netflix's Original Marvel series are due to return to the platform in 2018.

New seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage will reappear on the service as part of the 2018 lineup, adding to the library of Marvel series.

2017 has already seen Iron Fist make its way to Netflix, with Defenders and Punisher series due to air in the summer and autumn respectively.

Season 2 of Jessica Jones is currently in production, with both it and Luke Cage expected to start filming this year.

Daredevil is also due to film this year, after showrunner Marco Ramirez is finished overseeing The Defenders.

Whilst there is no confirmation from Marvel or Netflix yet, offerings in previous years suggests that there will be 3 series aired in 2018, with the flagship shows given attention.

Netflix has yet to announce its Marvel series plans going forward, though it's assumed that it will introduce new characters from the Marvel universe.

Fans have requested a Heroes for Hire series, which would see Luke Cage and Iron Fist team up in the style of the comic book series.

The Defenders is due to hit Netflix on August 18th, with The Punisher arriving late in the year.

You can catch up with all the current Marvel TV offerings on Netflix right now.
