Netflix sets premiere date for Schitt's Creek season 6
It'll be available on Thursday 14th May.
Netflix has confirmed when the sixth and final season of Schitt’s Creek will arrive in the UK.
Fans all over the country will be able to enjoy new episodes of the acclaimed Canadian comedy from Thursday 14th May 2020.
This final season, which will once again consist of 14 episodes, was officially announced by co-creator Dan Levy on his Instagram account last June.
“We are so grateful to have been given the time and creative freedom to tell this story in its totality, concluding with a final chapter that we had envisioned from the very beginning,” he wrote.
Created by father and son Dan and Eugene Levy, Schitt’s Creek follows wealthy family the Roses, Johnny (Levy), Moira (Catherine O’Hara), David (Levy) and Alexis Rose (Annie Murphy).
After a business manager secretly steals all of their money, they’re forced to move to the small titular town which they purchased back in 1991 as a joke.
Although it received lukewarm reviews in its first season, the show has enjoyed a sleeper success going onto to receive plenty of acclaim from fans and critics alike.
