Netflix's Blood of Zeus anime renewed for season 2
Its expected to premiere sometime in either late 2021 or early 2022.
Netflix has renewed its anime series Blood of Zeus for a second season.
The streaming service’s official NX Twitter account, which is dedicated to “all things geek”, confirmed the news with a short teaser clip featuring its hero Heron and The Fates, goddesses who can see the future.
Not too much is known about the plot for season 2, but it’s sure to feature much more of Hades (Fred Tatasciore) who was revealed to have orchestrated the big battle between the Gods and the Giants.
It will also reveal the fate of the goddess Hera (Claudia Christian), the incredibly jealous wife of Zeus (Jason O’ Mara).
Created by Charley and Vlas Parlapanide, Blood of Zeus is set in the world of Greek mythology and follows an original character named Heron.
He discovers he’s the illegitimate son of the king of the gods and must save the world from a terrifying army of demons led by Seraphim (Elias Toufexis).
The show has received acclaim from critics and fans alike for its stunning animation style, writing and voice acting.
You can stream the entire first season of Blood of Zeus on Netflix now.
