Bridgerton star joins cast of Netflix's The Gray Man
It's not yet clear which character Regé-Jean Page will be playing.
Regé-Jean Page is amongst the latest additions to Netflix’s upcoming spy thriller The Gray Man.
The streamer has confirmed that the Bridgerton star, Billy Bob Thornton and Alfre Woodard will join the star-studded cast which includes Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana De Armas, Narcos’ Wagner Moura and Jessica Henwick.
Directed by Avengers: Endgame’s Anthony and Joe Russo, The Gray Man is based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greaney.
It follows a freelance assassin called Court Gentry (Gosling) who is hunted across the world by CIA agent Lloyd Hansen (Evans).
The duo also wrote the first draft of the script which was then “polished up” by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, whose previous credits include all three Captain America films.
The Gray Man will be Netflix’s biggest budget film to date with a price tag of over $200 million.
The Russo’s next film Cherry, which stars Tom Holland as an army veteran who resorts to robbing a bank to feed his drug addiction, will premiere on Apple TV+ on 12th March.
