New episode of Tiger King reportedly headed to Netflix

Joe Exotic's former business partner Jeff Lowe revealed the news in a recent Twitter video.

A new episode of Netflix’s smash-hit documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness will be released next week, according to one of its subjects Jeff Lowe.

“Netflix is adding one more episode. It will be on next week. They’re filming here tomorrow,” said Lowe in a video posted to Twitter by baseball star Justin Turner.

Turner hosts a podcast with his wife Kourtney and a recent episode saw the pair discussing their love of the show. Lowe then sent them the clip in response.

It’s not yet clear if the episode will be a continuation of the incredibly popular documentary series or work as a kind of reunion episode.

Tiger King follows Joe Exotic (aka Joe Maldonado-Passage) the eccentric owner of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

He enters into an intense feud with Big Cat Rescue sanctuary owner Carol Baskins which rapidly escalates after she accuses him of animal cruelty over his cub petting operation.

The series also looks at the controversial issue of private zoos in the US and its ongoing big cat trade talking to other owners like Kevin “Doc” Antle.

Its been a huge hit with audiences all across the world and is currently the streaming platform’s most watched title in the US.

A Joe Exotic miniseries is also currently in development with Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon set to play Baskins.

You can stream all 7 episodes of Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness on Netflix now.
