New Marvel Netflix Originals teased at Comic Con

New instalments of Netflix’s Original Marvel shows have been revealed via the San Diego Comic Con.

Season 3 of the hugely popular Daredevil was announced alongside first looks at the anticipated Luke Cage and Iron Fist series.

Whilst a release date has not been announced for the new Daredevil, Netflix confirmed that Charlie Cox will be returning as the eponymous hero.

Luke Cage, a character which originally appeared in fellow Marvel series Jessica Jones, is starring in his own solo show which is due to air on September 30th.

The upcoming Iron Fist series, which stars Game of Thrones' Finn Jones, was also teased with a new trailer, showing the origins of the character as a boy who is raised in the Himalayas after losing his family.

These are just a few of the Marvel series planned for the streaming service, with a second season of Jessica Jones and a standalone Punisher series planned.

Marvel also has plans to consolidate these characters with its planned Defenders series, which will see characters such as The Punisher, Daredevil and Jessica Jones teaming up in a similar way to the Avengers movies.

Netflix subscribers can currently stream the first 2 seasons of Daredevil as well as Jessica Jones right now.
