New teaser released for Stranger Things season 4
"Eleven, are you listening?"
Netflix has released a new teaser for the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things.
The short clip is centered around Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) who has seemingly been imprisoned in the government facility where she grew up.
Although we don’t see his face, it looks like Dr Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) is behind it.
He’s shown speaking to a group of children who look exactly as she did in the first season, dressed in hospital gowns and with shaved heads, and affectionately refer to him as Papa.
Although the details of this season’s plot are being kept tightly under wraps, having Eleven kidnapped and held captive fits in with its tagline “we’re not in Hawkins anymore.”
A previous teaser released last year, which confirmed that fan favourite police chief Hopper (David Harbour) is alive, also suggests that a portion of the action will take place in Russia.
After being shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, filming on Stranger Things season 4 resumed in November 2020 and is still ongoing.
That same month, Robert Englund, Eduardo Franco, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Tom Wlaschiha, Nikola Djuricko and Joseph Quinn were also announced as new cast members.
You can stream all three seasons of Stranger Things on Netflix now.
