Series of Unfortunate Events season 3 gets trailer
The Series wraps up with its Unfortunate third season.
The third season of A Series of Unfortunate Events has released its first trailer.
The series is based on the children’s novels by Daniel Handler, who uses the pen name Lemony Snicket, and revolves around the Baudelaire children as they try to survive a harsh world after their parents are killed.
Season three of the series is set to be the show’s last, with each season covering four of the thirteen books.
The series stars Neil Patrick Harris as the evil Count Olaf, with the actor recently commenting about how the books were adapted to the small screen.
"We're three seasons all in. We've intentionally been very truthful and factual and loyal to the books. We've added a few characters that aren't in the books, we've added some songs that you probably couldn't put into the books, but for the most part, we're sticking to the structure of what already worked."
The new trailer offers a glimpse at how the series will wrap up, with the Baudelaires discovering the mystery of VFD.
Alongside the trailer, Netflix has also announced the release date, with viewers able to watch the full season from New Year’s Day.
This kicks off what is set to be a big year of content from Netflix, which includes a new season of GLOW as well as what will probably be the final seasons of both The Punisher and Jessica Jones.
