Sky to add All 4 to Sky Q and Sky Go apps
Sky has announced that it will be adding All 4 services to its Sky Q and Sky Go mobile apps.
This will allow Sky customers to stream shows broadcast on Channel 4, E4 and More4 on-demand alongside Sky content.
Whilst some All 4 box sets already exist on the platform, the new announcement means that newer shows such as Gogglebox and Hunted will appear on the Sky apps.
All 4 is the latest platform to be added to Sky's apps, with programmes from E! Entertainment, SyFy and the Universal Channel being added earlier this year.
This allows Sky customers to access up to 70 different entertainment channels both live and on-demand via the apps, without having to access other services.
All 4 will continue to offer its own mobile app, as well as being available online and on streaming devices.
Luke Bradley-Jones, Brand Director of TV and Content Products at Sky, said that Sky was committed to giving its customers a cohesive entertainment experience.
“It's fantastic that customer favourites from All 4 have been added to Sky Go and Sky Q mobile platforms, showing our commitment to giving customers even more of the best TV in a way that's easy and flexible, to fit into their lifestyles. So find your phone or tablet, log in, and catch up with June and Leon in the latest episode of Gogglebox wherever you are.”
With the addition of All 4, Sky has said that it plans to continue adding different networks to its apps, with new programming from ITV and Channel 5 making its way to the service.
Head of Distribution at Channel 4, Carl Pfeiffer, said the channel was excited to see its library grow on Sky.
“We are delighted to be able to bring catch-up from All 4 to Sky's mobile apps, building on the classic Channel 4 shows that we already make available.”
