Star Trek: Discovery season 2 UK air date announced

The Discovery will return in early 2019.

The UK air date for the second season of Star Trek: Discovery has been announced.

Trekkies can watch the season’s first episode on January 18th, 2019, with subsequent episodes appearing weekly.

The series is exclusive to CBS All Access in the US, with Netflix holding the streaming rights in the UK.

This is the same with other CBS shows like Better Call Saul, which is branded as a Netflix Original even though it isn’t really.

Using this method, British Star Trek fans can watch the new episodes just hours after they air in the US.

Rebecca Romijn of X-Men fame will be playing the number one to Captain Pike in the new season, a character who also appeared in the Original Series.

The actress posted a new picture of her in costume via her Instagram.

The release date comes just days after the new trailer for season 2 was released, showing Trek fans what they can expect.

You can watch all the major Star Trek series, such as The Original Series, Next Generation, Voyager and Discovery, on Netflix right now.
