The Handmaid's Tale season 4 to arrive later this month

Praise be.

Channel 4 has confirmed that the fourth season of acclaimed dystopian drama The Handmaid’s Tale will premiere this month.

This announcement came via their official press Twitter account which also revealed fans can revisit seasons 1 to 3 from 31st May on All4.

The trailer for this fourth season, released back in April, shows it’s set to pick up where season 3 left off with former handmaid June (Elisabeth Moss) having survived being shot.

Now recuperating in a safehouse, she’s set to continue the fight against the incredibly oppressive regime of Gilead and the ongoing search for her young daughter Hannah.

Yvonne Strahovski, Joseph Fiennes, Ann Dowd, Madeline Brewer, O.T. Fagbenle, Max Minghella and Samira Wiley are also set to return.

The show began airing in the US at the end of April to positive reviews from audiences and critics alike.

Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale was originally supposed to debut in Autumn 2020 but it’s release date was pushed back due to COVID-19.

You can stream the first three seasons of The Handmaid’s Tale on All4 now.
