The Late Late Show to head to UK in June
James Corden's smash-hit show is heading home.
The Late Late Show with James Corden is due to film in London in the Summer, Sky has announced.
The talk show, which is hosted by Gavin and Stacey star James Corden, has been a big hit in the US, winning an Emmy Award and garnering millions of viewers.
The show has become a hit largely due to its ‘Carpool Karaoke' segments, in which Corden sings with a celebrity whilst driving, earning millions of views on YouTube.
Now, for the first time, the show will be headed to the UK, with Sky broadcasting the episodes exclusively.
The 3 special episodes will be filmed in London's Westminster Central Hall and will feature highlights from Corden's homeland.
The show will also feature its signature musical and comedy segments with a British twist.
Corden said that he was proud to be taking the show to the UK.
“To bring The Late Late Show to the UK is a dream come true for me. I'm incredibly proud of the show and we're going to do our best to make this week in London memorable.”
Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky 1, added that Sky 1 has a history of popular shows with Corden.
“I'm beyond excited that James and The Late Late Show are coming to the UK for three very special episodes. James is hugely loved by the Sky 1 audience and it will be a proud moment for the channel to share what he and The Late Late Show gang have in store for us.”
