The Sinner renewed for season 4
The series is expected to premiere sometime in 2021.
The USA Network has renewed its hit crime-drama The Sinner for a fourth season.
Not too much is known about this upcoming season other than that star Bill Pullman is set to return as troubled Detective Harry Ambrose investigating another gripping case.
The Sinner centres on a different case each season which all seem fairly cut and dry on the surface but get much more complex and layered the more they are investigated.
It’s fairly unique in the fact it starts with the perpetrator committing the crime and then works back to understand why they did what they did.
Jessica Biel, Carrie Coon and Matt Bomer starred in the first, second and third seasons respectively which all received acclaim from critics.
“In Season 4, we’re excited to dig even deeper into the psyche of Bill Pullman’s beloved Detective Ambrose character, while introducing our audience to a compelling, completely new mystery,” said Chris McCumber, president of USA Network and SYFY.
The third season of The Sinner arrives on Netflix UK this Friday 19th June and follows prep school teacher Jamie (Bomer) who kills his old friend Nick (Chris Messina) in a car crash for seemingly no reason.
