The Sinner to return with new lead

Matt Bomer will join the crime series.

The Sinner will return for a third season with a new star at the helm.

Matt Bomer, who has previously starred in the USA drama White Collar as well as films like The Nice Guys, has signed on to become the new lead actor for the series.

The Sinner has previously included Bill Pullman as the main character Harry Ambrose, with the first season originally airing as a “close-ended” series based on a novel.

The show’s popularity meant that it received a second season, which focused on a new murder case.

Bomer will reportedly play a character called Jamie, who will call on Pullman’s character in the wake of a tragic accident.

This suggests that Pullman will return to the show, though potentially in a more limited role.

The Sinner is a series developed by the USA network in the US, but is available to watch in the UK as a Netflix Original.

Season 3 is likely to follow the same pattern, meaning you can expect it to show up on Netflix soon after its airing in the US.
