The Venture Bros cancelled by Adult Swim
The series has come to an end after 17 years on the air.

The animated Adult Swim series The Venture Bros. has been cancelled after seven seasons.
Its creator Jackson Publick took to Twitter to confirm the news stating that he received the news a little ago whilst writing season 8.
Unfortunately, it’s true: #VentureBros has been canceled. We got the highly disappointing news a few months ago, while we were writing what would have been season 8. We thank you, our amazing fans, for 17 years of your kind (and patient) attention. And, as always, We Love You.

There have been rumours floating around about the show’s cancellation since last September following a tweet by Ken Plume, author of the companion book Go Team Venture!: The Art and Making of the Venture Bros.

There is a glimmer of hope for fans however as Adult Swim also tweeted yesterday that they were working “to find another way to continue the story.”
The Venture Bros. follows the adventures of twin teenagers Hank and Dean Venture, bodyguard/secret agent Brock Sampson and their evil scientist Dad Rusty as they face off against their nemesis Monarch.
Publick and musician Doc Hammer write the show and voice various characters alongside Michael Sinterniklaas, James Urbaniak and Patrick Warburton.
A pilot for the show first aired in 2003 with the first full series following a year later. Its seventh and now finale season aired its last episode in October 2018.
