The Walking Dead season 10 to get six new episodes
These will bridge the gap until season 11 which has been delayed until next year.
The tenth season of The Walking Dead will receive six extra episodes, showrunner Angela Kang has confirmed.
She didn’t reveal what these episodes will consist of or how long they’ll be simply stating more information will follow soon.
This announcement came during the show’s panel at this year’s virtual Comic-Con@Home where she also said that the eagerly-anticipated season ten finale will air on October 4th.
The show’s production was shut down earlier in the year due to the coronavirus epidemic before pre-production on the finale could be completed.
A short trailer for the episode teases the return of fan-favourite Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and a violent confrontation with Beta (Ryan Hurst) who has surrounded The Survivors’s hideout with a huge mob of Walkers.
These episodes will hopefully be enough to tide fans over until season 11 which has unfortunately been delayed until next October.
While the show has yet to resume filming, Kang has said that the writers have been working remotely for the last few months.
