The Walking Dead star talks Negan spinoff
There's no plans for such a show as of yet but actor Jeffery Dean Morgan is up for the idea.

Jeffery Dean Morgan has spoken about the possibility of a new spinoff series following his The Walking Dead character Negan.
Replying to a question from a fan on Twitter, he didn’t confirm whether anything concrete was in the pipeline but did say that “no doors are closed.”
We shall see. I’d like to think no doors are closed. A great character with many stories to tell. But again, much still to do here on twd! Many episodes still to shoot. Right now I’m just excited about that!

Morgan has played the role of Negan since 2016 when he was introduced as the brutal, baseball bat wielding leader of a rival group called The Saviours.
If such a show was ever greenlit, it would join existing spinoffs Fear the Walking Dead that’s now in its sixth season and The Walking Dead: World Beyond which follows four teenagers who grew up in this zombie apocalypse.
A untitled spinoff following fan-favourite characters Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) is also in development for a 2023 release date along with an episodic anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead.
It was announced earlier this year that the long-running zombie juggernaut will end after its upcoming eleventh season.
This will consist of a huge 24 episodes and be split into two parts with the first set to air sometime next year.
You can stream the first nine seasons of The Walking Dead on Amazon Prime now.
