Vincent D’Onofrio wraps Daredevil season 3
The Kingpin is on his way back.
Vincent D'Onofrio has finished filming his part of Daredevil season 3.
The actor, who plays crime boss villain The Kingpin, said via Twitter that he had wrapped up on the show after filming since last November.
This suggests that his role in season 3 is set to be a hefty one, with the actor being tight-lipped as to what his character will be up to.
Details about season 3 of Daredevil are still scarce, though it is widely believed that the season will follow the Born Again storyline in the comics, which sees Kingpin attempt to destroy every aspect of Matt Murdock's life.
The last we saw of Daredevil, he was being nursed back to health after seemingly dying at the end of The Defenders.
Wilson Fisk was last seen in Daredevil season 2, where he was in prison and vowing revenge against the blind superhero.
More rumours around season 3 have recently surfaced, with actor Wilson Bethel reportedly cast as Bullseye - one of Daredevil's primary villains.
Netflix now has a number of Marvel shows under its belt, with season 2 of Jessica Jones already airing in March and Luke Cage season 2 set to appear this summer.
Daredevil season 3 doesn't yet have a release date, though it is expected at some point later this year.
You can watch the first 2 seasons of Daredevil on Netflix now.
