Apple TV+ renews Physical for season 2

Apple TV+ has renewed its original dark comedy-drama Physical for season 2.

This announcement comes just ahead of its first season finale which will available to stream from tomorrow 6th August exclusively on Apple TV+ 

Set in the 1980s in sunny San Diego, the show follows bored housewife Sheila (Rose Byrne) who tries to overcome her personal demons by becoming an aerobics video star.  

Rory Scovel, Geoffrey Aremd, Paul Sparks, Lou Taylor Pucci, Della Saba, Deirdre Friek and Ashley Liao also star.

Physical was created and written by Annie Weisman, who previously served as a producer on such shows as Desperate Housewives. 

I, Tonya’s Craig Gillespie directed the pilot episode with the other eight shared out between Veep’s Stephanie Laing and Liza Johnson.
